The day was crazy. Starting out in Baltimore at the airport at 5:30 am, hoping our flight would take us back to Long Island after a two-day layover…and it did. Then dressing for the reception…having to wear long johns under my Chinese pants because it was so very cold…but the Newsday reporter said I didn’t have to mention that, as she was only interested in the visible attire. Fortunately the boots matched the pants and had good traction in the ice and snow. My outfit was a perfect match for my exhibited image, Circus of Color, as well as for the newspaper!
